Frequently asked questions about axe throwing
Of course it is! The safety of the players is our top priority, that's why:
- Our sessions take place in highly controlled (but fun) conditions.
- Axes are only thrown at empty, fenced targets under the watchful eye of an experienced instructor.
- As a result of rigorous testing, our axes and ground have been designed to reduce any unwanted bounce.
- We are continually reviewing and updating our practices and facilities to avoid dangerous situations before they occur.
Children can enjoy axe throwing from the age of 7 years old. We have a selection of throwing toys adapted for the youngest and lightest children. Minors up to 16 years old must be accompanied by a guardian or responsible adult, as long as they have been authorized by the guardians. Here is the authorization form to be filled in by the parents in this case.
Open-toed shoes are not allowed. We love flip-flops as much as you do (or probably more) but it's simply not the right footwear.
Pro tip: avoid heels, flats are the best shoes to throw on.
Wear something comfortable, whatever you want, but if it restricts your arm movement, it will affect your aim and we won't give you comp gifts for that. We might give you points for costumes though…
