How our tournaments work
At Urban Safari we organize axe throwing tournaments in Madrid on the first weekend of each month in the morning. Participants of different levels come to these tournaments to enjoy sports leisure time in a safe, fun and healthy competitive environment. During all events, our bar offers exclusive promotions. All tournaments include different prizes: sometimes money, leisure experiences, exclusive material, trophies or diplomas.
Our tournament days usually follow this structure:
You can register for the tournaments up to 15 minutes before they start. Urban Safari offers its participants one hour of warm-up in our facilities before the event begins for a price of €5.
Players will be divided into groups depending on the number of participants. They will face each other in classic duels against the other players in their group.
Depending on the number of participants, the top 8 or 16 players with the best scores will advance to this stage. Head-to-head duels will be divided into two brackets. Everyone starts in the W Bracket. The duels consist of 10 throws. The loser will move to the L Bracket.
The winner of the L Bracket will face the winner of the W Bracket. For the L Bracket winner to win the tournament, they must beat their rival twice. For the W Bracket winner to win, they only need one victory. At the end, we will present the podium and give out the prizes.
